Choice Hotels tapped into National Waffle Day to highlight their free breakfast at their hotels. They embarked on a month and a half long series, #WhatsYourWaffle, asking people to pick the next waffle flavor to be served nationwide in 2018.

STRATEGY

Choice Hotels wanted to find influencers to create “food porn” content that would raise awareness and drive engagements with their sweepstakes website.   Using the Julius platform, Choice Hotels identified influencers that met their brand aesthetic, reached their target audience, and had proven history of driving strong engagements on social.    They then gifted the influencers waffle-making kits and encouraged them to create content that drew attention to Choice Hotels Sweepstakes.  Julius helped keep track of the views and engagements on their posts so they could see how viral the campaign went.
